Establishing his practice in 1994 after working with Mumbai and India’s top architectural and Interior Design Studio, Aftab has taken his company to giddying heights through sheer hard work, dedication and uncompromising work ethics. His insistence on designing to the most micro detail gives him a reputation for a task master amongst staff and contractors who admire him none-the-less. He is known to be uncompromising in his demand for quality and finish whether it is from the output of his studio or the results on site. It is these qualities and reputation that have made him one of the top 50 architects in India and singularly the most sought-after architect for the design of jewellery stores for which he is renown and has a habit of bagging several awards.

His quest for spreading his knowledge to ensure that in his small way excellence in the field is promoted and propagated, Aftab has often been found as a guest lecturer and speaker at various institutes and events and is a guest columnist in the Indian Jeweller magazine.
