Aftab has been practising architecture and retail design for many years, building deep expertise in creating spaces that seamlessly blend functionality, aesthetics and commercial success. In 2008, Aftab established V-Design Architectural Solutions in Mumbai.

Since then, he has taken it to remarkable heights through sheer hard work, dedication and an uncompromising attention to detail - from his team and himself.

Today, V-Design is India's only architectural firm dedicated exclusively to jewellery store design. Aftab’s reputation of producing innovate designs and demanding quality and polish at every step of output has earned him a spot in India’s top 50 architects - and has made him India’s singularly most sought out architect for jewellery store design.

In his quest for spreading his knowledge to ensure that excellence in the field is promoted and propagated, he has been a guest lecturer and speaker at various institutes and events, and also been part panels and juries for various awards and competitions.

He is also a guest columnist in the Indian Jeweller magazine for the past 10 years.
